Topps Turbo Attax F1 2026 guide: the 403-card checklist, subsets and rare cards

Topps Turbo Attax Formula 1 2026 covers the whole grid - 11 teams now that the field has grown - in a 403-card set that has more subsets than almost any other trading card game. This guide walks through what each one is, which cards are scarce, and what finishing the set costs.

The core of the set

Every team has its F1 Team Logo card and a Team Principal card - 11 of each - plus its drivers and cars. The driver and car cards run through several subsets rather than one plain base set: F1 Heroes, F1 Car, DriverCore, Power In Numbers, Lightning Lids, Dynamic Duo team-mate pairs and Speed Silhouettes. There are F2 One To Watch cards for the next generation too.

The chase cards

The harder cards are where Turbo Attax gets interesting:

• Turbo Chrome - 25 cards with a chrome finish.
• Limited Editions - 18 cards numbered LE, far scarcer than the rest of the set.
• Legends of the Grid, Greats of the Grid and Guardians of the Grid - three subsets celebrating the sport's big names and its history.
• F1 Gold, Diamond Infinity and Black Edge - premium finishes.
• 100 Club and 100 Club Legend - nine cards between them.
• A few one-offs, including Champions and two Black Gold Limited Edition cards - among the hardest cards in the set to find.

Packets and cost to complete

A 12-card packet was R99.90 at Toys R Us in September 2026. If every card were equally likely, you would need about 2,650 cards - around 220 packets, or more than R22,000 - to see all 403. In reality the Limited Editions and premium finishes are much scarcer than that, so opening packets alone will never finish the set.

As with every collection, the effort is lopsided: the first 80% of the set takes roughly 650 cards, and the last 20% takes around 2,000. Once you are into the last few dozen, buying singles is by far the cheaper route.

Tips for F1 collectors

• Collect by team. Finishing one team at a time - logo, principal, drivers, cars - keeps the binder satisfying long before the whole set is done.
• Protect the chrome and gold cards. Finishes scratch easily; sleeve them as soon as they come out of the packet.
• Check the number, not just the name. The same driver appears in many subsets, so "a Piastri" could be any of a dozen cards. Our checklist lists them by number.
