The Panini Premier League 2024 sticker album has 636 stickers to fill across all 20 clubs. As well as the players and club badges there are foils, Stat Stars, Captains, Super Signings, Elite, One To Watch and Magic Moments. This guide explains how the album is laid out, what the special stickers are, and how to get the last page finished.

How the album is laid out

The stickers are numbered club by club, so each team's pages run in one block of numbers. Aston Villa's section, for example, includes Ollie Watkins, Moussa Diaby, Emiliano Martinez, Jhon Duran, Tyrone Mings and John McGinn, all between numbers 103 and 109, plus a Magic Moment sticker of Villa's 4-0 win over Everton. That makes it easy to see at a glance which club you are closest to finishing.

What the 636 stickers are

  • Base stickers - 456, mostly the players of the 20 clubs.
  • Stat Star - 60 stickers, the largest special group.
  • Foil, Captain, Elite, Super Signing, Magic Moment and One To Watch - 20 stickers each, the same number as there are clubs.

Which stickers are hardest to find

On our own rarity scale, the special stickers - Elite, Super Signing, Magic Moment, Stat Star, One To Watch and Captain - sit above the ordinary player stickers. That rating comes from how often we see them, not from an official figure: Panini does not publish print runs, and we would rather not guess. In practice, the stickers you are missing at the end are rarely the famous ones - they are whichever numbers luck has not given you.

Why the last page takes so long

If every one of the 636 stickers were equally likely, you would need to open about 4,470 stickers on average to fill the album from packets alone - about seven times the number of spaces.

Almost all of that effort goes on the end. The first 80% of the album (509 different stickers) takes around 1,020 stickers on average. The last 20% takes about 3,450 more, because nearly every packet by then is full of stickers you already have. This is the same curve every sticker album follows, and it is why swapping has always been part of the hobby.

How to fill the album without buying a mountain of packets

  • Keep a list of numbers. A written or printed "need" list makes swapping fast and stops you buying the same gaps twice.
  • Swap before you buy. Friends, family and school are the cheapest source of the middle part of the album.
  • Buy the last few as singles. Once you are down to the final few dozen, buying exact numbers beats opening hundreds more packets. We have around 60 singles from this album in stock at the time of writing, from R15 to R50, delivered to PUDO lockers across South Africa.
  • Stick carefully. Line up one edge first and press from the centre outward - a crooked foil is hard to fix once it is down.
