Checkers Little Shop 2025: the full list of 46 minis and how to complete it

Checkers Little Shop 2025 brought 46 new minis - tiny replicas of the brands on South African grocery shelves, from Clover milk to Tastic rice - plus 4 specials. The promotion is over, but plenty of families still have a Collector's Case with gaps in it. This guide covers what was in the set, why the last few are so hard to find, and how to finish it now.

How the 2025 promotion worked

The promotion ran from 22 September to 9 November 2025. Xtra Savings members got one mini with every qualifying R200 spent at Checkers, Checkers Hyper, Checkers Foods or on Checkers Sixty60. The minis were free with your shopping; what you paid for was the Collector's Case, at R99.99, which came with a 3-in-1 game board and a die so the minis double as playing pieces. As with every Little Shop, you did not choose which mini you got.

Checkers says this round's minis were made from at least 80% post-consumer recycled material, and it put Little Shop recycling boxes in stores for unwanted duplicates.

The set: 42 minis and 4 specials

The full list is 46 minis. Forty-two are grocery and household brands - Black Cat peanut butter, Colgate toothpaste, Comfort Aromatherapy, Crosse & Blackwell, KNOX Hydration Drink, Simple Truth coconut water, Sunfoil oil and Tastic rice among them. The other four are specials:

Why the last few minis take so long

Collecting a set of random surprises follows a well-known curve. If all 46 minis were equally likely, you would expect to open about 203 minis to get every one. At one mini per R200, that is around R40,600 of shopping - far more than a household spends in a seven-week promotion.

The first 37 different minis (80% of the set) come quickly: about 73 minis on average, because nearly every one is new. The last 9 take around 130 more, because by then almost every mini you open is a double. And the specials were not as common as the grocery minis in our experience, which only makes the tail longer. That is why so many cases are sitting at 38 or 40 out of 46.

How to finish the set after the promotion

Count what you actually have. Tip the case out and tick each number off the checklist. Kids are often a few closer than they think - and just as often have two of something they thought was missing.
Swap with family and friends first. Cousins, classmates and neighbours all collected the same set, so their doubles are your gaps.
Buy the last few as singles. Once you are down to a handful, buying exactly those beats any amount of extra shopping. We sell single minis and deliver anywhere in South Africa to a PUDO locker; the ones we have in stock are R25 each.
Sell us your doubles in one parcel. We buy spare Little Shop minis. You pay the postage to send them to us (about R49 to a PUDO locker), so we take sell offers from R100 - keep your doubles together and send them in one go rather than a few at a time.

Looking after the minis

Little Shop minis are made to be played with, but printed labels scuff and small pieces go missing. If you want a set to keep, put one of each back in the case and let the kids play with the doubles. Keep the case out of direct sun, which fades the colours, and store the specials together so the Sixty60 bike does not disappear under the couch.
