Burger King Dragon Ball Toys South Africa: all 6 figures and how to complete the set

Updated 6 October 2026 · by the Swappies team

Burger King South Africa's Dragon Ball Super promotion has six collectable figures, one with every King Jr. meal or Dragon Ball Super meal. Most people call them the Burger King Dragon Ball Z toys, but the box says Dragon Ball Super. Here are all six, how to get them, and how to finish the set without eating fifteen kids' meals.

The Burger King Dragon Ball toys

Burger King and Toei Animation launched the Dragon Ball Super menu at every Burger King in South Africa on 14 September 2026, for a limited time and while stocks last. The same six figures ran in the United States and Canada from 1 September. Each one is a chunky chibi figure about 8 cm tall in hard painted plastic.

All six figures

  • Goku - the Saiyan hero in his orange and blue gi, black spiky hair. The figure in Burger King's King Jr. meal photo.
  • Super Saiyan Blue Goku - Goku with spiky blue hair (Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan).
  • Vegeta - the Prince of Saiyans in his blue battle suit and white armour.
  • Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta - Vegeta with blue hair and a gritted-teeth snarl.
  • Piccolo - the green Namekian in his white turban and cape.
  • Beerus - the cat-like God of Destruction, purple with huge pointed ears.

See every figure, with live stock, on the Burger King Dragon Ball Super toys checklist.

How to get them at Burger King

  • King Jr. meal. The Dragon Ball Super King Jr. comes in a themed box with a crown and one of the six figures.
  • Dragon Ball Super meals. The Super Saiyan Whopper and Super Saiyan Crispy Chicken meals are part of the same promotion.
  • The T-shirt. There is also a Dragon Ball x BK T-shirt of Goku and Vegeta in Super Saiyan Blue, in black or white. It is clothing, not one of the six figures.

You usually get whichever figure is next in the box, and some restaurants have run out of particular characters. Asking nicely for the one you need sometimes works; it is not guaranteed.

How many meals for the full set?

If the six figures are handed out in equal numbers and you cannot choose, you would expect to buy about 15 meals to collect all six - and end up with around nine doubles. The first four come quickly; the last one alone takes six meals on average, because by then most figures you get are ones you already have.

How to finish the set

  • Buy the exact figure you are missing. We sell each Burger King Dragon Ball figure on its own, so there are no doubles. Delivery anywhere in South Africa to a PUDO locker.
  • Swap with friends. Everyone who has been to Burger King this spring has a spare Goku.
  • Sell us your doubles. We pay R20 for each spare figure in good condition. You pay the postage to send them (about R59 to a PUDO locker), so we take sell offers from R100 - gather your doubles and send one parcel.

Keeping them in good condition

These are painted plastic, and the paint wears first on the hair tips and the ears. Keep each figure in its bag until it goes on a shelf, and keep them out of the sun - the blue hair fades. An unscuffed figure is the one collectors want once the promotion is over and the restaurants stop handing them out.
